Oklahoma state brand
Art Direction | Social Media Strategy | Creative Strategy
Overview
The State of Oklahoma launched a new initiative to highlight tourism, commerce and innovation while engaging residents and visitors.
The campaign included social media activations on Meta and Pinterest, state-branded merchandise, and interactive materials like coloring pages.
Merchandise proceeds supported in-classroom grants, connecting the campaign to a tangible educational impact.

Approach
I led the art direction and creative for a campaign built to introduce Oklahomans to their new state brand and drive traffic to an online merch shop raising funds for public school grants.
From social strategy and content to digital ads and print, I kept the creative cohesive and the storytelling genuine, making sure every touchpoint felt connected and purposeful.

Outcome
The campaign continues to successfully promote Oklahoma’s attractions and initiatives, engages audiences across multiple channels and reinforces a unified state brand.
In its first year, the initiative raised over $76,000 for in-classroom grants supporting public school teachers.
After launching the State Brand's first Pinterest page, the campaign gathered 3,005 pin clicks and 3,104 clicks through to the ImagineOklahoma.shop site in just two months.
